His Early Work

Len began studying and painting in earnest in 1986 whereupon he embarked on a remarkable artistic career.

 

His early works were characterised by his desire to explore various styles of illustration and influences, with encouragement from his tutors to try something different, even if it didn't always work.

A work inspired by a scene painted by the celebrated artist, Rowland Hilder. One of his most atmospheric works and to this day one of his family's favourites.
